From post 10, the 32-1 longshot got under the wire in 1:50.1 to win by four and a half lengths. The Steve Nichols trainee paid $67.90 to win. With Roger Mayotte at the helm, the four-year-old gelding went from sixth to first to win by a neck. The bay paid $22.80 to win, rounding out the final leg of the $75,000 guaranteed pool early Pick 4 that consisted of nothing but longshot winners. The early Pick 4 paid $46,875. With Trevor Ritchie in the bike, the Blair Burgess pupil trotted his mile in a career-best clocking of 1:54. Gold Final (3YOCT) – Daylon Magician captured the $130,000 Ontario Sires Stakes Gold Final for three-year-old trotters for owner/trainer/breeder David Lemon.
