Woodbine Mohawk Park will have a couple of different yet familiar voices in the announcer’s booth for this weekend’s live racing.
Friday:
Doug McPherson will be announcing Friday night’s card of racing. McPherson is the new track announcer at Fort Erie, a job he came to with experience in each aspect of the Thoroughbred industry.
Saturday:
Shannon ‘Sugar’ Doyle will be calling Saturday’s races. You’ll recognize Sugar’s voice from Western Fair, where he has been announcing for nearly a decade.
Post time on each night is 7pm.
