CRANBURY, NEW JERSEY, October 18, 2022– Entries for the $6.7 million Breeders Crown events saw 174 of the sport’s top trotters and pacers enter to qualify for the rich finals on Friday, Oct. 28 and Saturday, Oct. 29 at Woodbine Mohawk Park. All purses are US dollars.

There were 66 2-year-olds entered, yielding seven $25,000 eliminations in all divisions for Friday, Oct. 21. Those freshmen who chose to take byes and elimination fields will be available this afternoon. All 2-year-old finals have a purse of $600,000.

With 12 entered in the $600,000 2-Year-Old Filly Trot, Win And You’re In bye holder Instagram Model goes straight to the final. Righteous Resolve took the single bye offered to the highest money earner of the remaining entries. A 10-horse elimination will race with the top eight fillies advancing to the final.

Entries of 19 freshmen trotting colts, including Win And You’re In bye holder Kilmister forces two nine horse eliminations to advance the first four finishers and the fifth-place finisher with the highest seasonal earnings, as compiled by Standardbred Canada (including elimination earnings) to create a field of 10 for the $600,000 2-Year-Old Colt Trot Final.
