Campbellville, June 18 – What started out as a bit of a gloomy day turned into a spectacularly sunny, warm and fun outing. All the stops were pulled out for the $1-million Pepsi North America Cup and Mohawk Racetrack was hopping!
Racegoers were treated to some amazing live music from Canadian country music stars Kira Isabella and JoJo MasonThe concert spaced filled up when Kira Isabella took the stage just after 5:00 pm and she charmed and wowed everyone with the strength of her voice, her sass on the stage and of course, the music. Kira followed up her set by singing the national anthems and the racing began!
At 7:00 pm JoJo Mason took to the NA Cup Stage with a big smile on his face. Once the music started, people headed back to the concert area. JoJo did a quick set and promised he’d be back between races. And he was. He’d sing a couple of songs and then let us get back to the racing. It was perfect.
But this night was about more than just music and racing, there was also food, fashion and a ton of fun games. And while Fear The Dragon took the Pepsi North America Cup, everyone who came out to enjoy the night went home a winner!
Let’s take a walk through the NA Cup experience:

Kira Isabella takes the stage with a roar…

It’s time to harmonize…

She’s got the look!

Oh Canada! Stand up and sing for Kira…

And when the show was over, Kira came out to talk to the fans, take photos and
sign autographs…

JoJo Mason takes the stage with a big smile…

JoJo looking cool as a cucumber in the 30 degree heat…

When JoJo looks right at you, you feel it…

As the night came on, the lights came up and backlit JoJo…

JoJo taking time out after singing to take photos with fans…

Of course, there was a lot of racing action going on as well…

And even a bit of bull riding!

Only $5.75 for Chicken & Waffles? Amazing!

It was a night that left me crying out for more! Can’t wait for next year!
