Responsible Gambling Policy

Our responsible gambling policy is called “Know When to Take the Reins.” It ensures we continue to be a responsible corporate citizen and provide a positive gaming experience at all our venues to all our customers. While most customers enjoy pari-mutuel wagering as a form of entertainment, a small percentage may experience problems.

If you are concerned about your own gambling, or you are worried about someone you care about, you can get help from:

The Responsible Gambling Council
http://responsiblegambling.org

or CALL ConnexOntario Helpline at 1-866-531-2600 or visit www.connexontario.ca
(Confidential, Anonymous, Free and Open 24 Hours)

To assist our customers, we will provide our staff with training in prevention policies and procedures.

Woodbine Entertainment Group will:

  • comply with all laws and regulations to provide a safe and secure gambling experience
  • provide information to customers on responsible gambling
  • provide assistance to those who may be experiencing problems
  • promote responsible gambling policies, practices and procedures

At both Woodbine Racetrack and Mohawk Racetrack, we have partnered with the Responsible Gambling Council and Ontario Lottery and Gaming Corporation to provide an interactive customer information kiosk and resource centre.
