With the wire fast approaching, the 2-year-old Nyquist colt, out of the Divine Park mare Astrollinthepark, found another gear to capture the card’s fifth fixture. Under rider Christoff Douglas, the 6-year-old son of Tapit–Faithfully dug in late to beat 25-1 foe Breaking Alone to the finish line by a head.
