What’s Open

Woodbine Entertainment continues to approach the reopening of its facilities cautiously, gradually, and with safety of our guests, horsepeople, employees and communities as the highest priority.

As part of that gradual approach, the Post Parade Dining Room (for à la carte dining only), Woodbine Club Dining Room (for à la carte dining only), Woodbine Club Bar, and Woodbine Club Wagering (only) will be the first amenities to reopen on a reduced schedule.

Following the restrictions established by the government, the Post Parade Dining Room, Woodbine Club Wagering (only), and Woodbine Club Bar will be open with reduced occupancy as per provincial and municipal restrictions and COVID-19 safety guidelines (reservations are required and mandatory at this time).

To ensure everyone’s safety, guest experiences at Woodbine Racetrack will be limited to the Post Parade Dining Room, Woodbine Club Dining Room, Woodbine Club Wagering (only), and Woodbine Club Bar only and all other areas and amenities will remain closed due to provincial and municipal restrictions.

Masks and Face Coverings

On July 7, 2020, the City of Toronto enacted By-Law 541-2020 requiring the use of face masks or face coverings, with some exceptions, in all indoor public spaces. Woodbine Entertainment has additionally mandated the use of face masks or coverings in all outdoor areas where physical distancing may be challenged. As such, all guests are required to wear a face covering or non-medical mask at all times while at Woodbine Racetrack. This includes when guests are indoors or outdoors and may only be removed when seated at a table and while eating or drinking.

Where to Park and Enter

Select public lots are open and guests are encouraged to use alternate spaces to ensure safe distancing between cars.

Please enter through Gate 10 (near the Dilawri Woodbine Valet and where the Horse Racing Hall of Fame is located) and follow our Guest Experience and Security staff’s instructions.

Please note, that depending on demand or capacity, guests may be required to temporarily wait outside before entering the building and are reminded to maintain physical distancing of two metres while waiting.

Site Construction

The land that surrounds Woodbine Racetrack will continue to transform as part of a master plan to create the ultimate destination for horse racing and gaming. After receiving approval to expand gaming in May 2018, construction began on new facilities, including a casino. To facilitate the large construction project, some accommodations that may impact your racetrack experience will occur. Please click here for more information.
