TORONTO, October 3, 2019 – Woodbine Entertainment will launch an exciting new wager called the Power Pick 6, featuring a low 15 per cent pari-mutuel takeout rate and 20-cent minimum, this Friday, Oct. 4. The Power Pick 6 is a Jackpot-style wager where horseplayers must pick the winners of six consecutive races on the program. The Jackpot proviso means that the entire pool pays out only when there is one single winning ticket sold that correctly selects all six winners. If there is not a unique winning ticket, half of the wagering pool will be carried over and offered on the next racing card. The other half will be paid out in consolation payouts to ticket holders with the most winners in the sequence. The Power Pick 6 will be offered daily on Woodbine Thoroughbred racing programs through the conclusion of the meet on December 15.
