TORONTO, November 20, 2020 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine.
Friday, Race 3 – Phase Out
Phase Out worked for Paula Loescher on November 7 in :59 flat. He has found a good spot for his second race and should be tighter with that opener out of the way.
Friday, Race 9 – Stormy Soul
Stormy Soul worked for Kelly Callaghan on October 3 in :59.80, tracked a couple of horses and breezed by them. He has been working well for his introduction back to racing. Will be a generous price.
Saturday, Race 7 – Lady Kratos
Lady Kratos worked for Darwin Banach on November 15 in :47.20, out in :59.80 with a final three-eighths in :34.80. Her recent form has been poor so hopefully this work pushes her forward.
Saturday, Race 10 – Amalfi Coast
Amalfi Coast worked for Kevin Attard on November 15 in :46.80, galloping out smartly. This is a fantastic race. I believe Amalfi Coast should be a good price.
