Michael Burns Photography Two straight That’s now consecutive trips to the winner’s circle for ICON Racing Stables’ Marshal, who maintained control from gate-to-wire in Saturday’s 10th. The impressive two-length tally under rider Ryan Munger followed a commanding 5 ½-length decision on Aug. 30 at Woodbine. A 4-year-old son of Justify–Durga Devi (IRE), Marshal now sports a 3-1-3 line, to go with $135,545 in purse earnings from 11 starts. Closing at 4-1, the Anthony Adamo-trained chestnut paid $10.70. The hard-earned half-length victory was the maiden-breaker for Empiricist, who was bred in Ontario by Gill Howard, Nancy Howard and Donald Ross.
