Clocker Report: Horses to watch this weekend

​TORONTO, May 25 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri will comment on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key on in upcoming races at Woodbine.
[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]
Friday, Race 6 – Giant Pulpit
Ernie said: "On May 12, Giant Pulpit worked in 1:00.40b with two stablemates opened up comfortably at around the 16th pole and drew off. After the harrow break track was playing quick rated a 4."
Saturday, Race 7 – The Craic
Ernie said: "On May 13, The Craic worked in :59.60b. He went the 1st 1/4 :23.80, 3/8 in :35.40 and home in :24.20. Very quick work and the last horse to work just before the harrow break on a cool morning track rated 2.5 slower track. Easy maintenance move followed this work."
Sunday, Race 8 – Souper Tapit
Ernie said: "On May 14, Souper Tapit worked in :58.20b in company with Belle de Nuit (1:00.60). He started behind workmate, 1st 3/8 in :34.40 and final 1/4 in :23.80. Finished well in front of mate. Just after the break track fair rated 3."
