TORONTO, August 17, 2018 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key on in upcoming races at Woodbine. [Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.] Friday, Race 1 – Desolator Perri said: “Desolator worked on July 15 in :47, out in :59.20, with a final quarter in :23. He has followed up with some quick works as well. His first race was in a Maiden Special Weight, now in against 40K or Ontario-sired.” Saturday, Race 7 – Loose On the Town Perri said: “Loose On the Town worked on August 4 in :59.80, out-working Freitag (1:00.20).
