On a Roll Stonestreet Stables’ Cadenza picked up her second stakes win this season with a poised 1 ½-length decision in Saturday’s $200,000 Galway Stakes at Saratoga. The impressive outing with Manuel Franco in the irons marked the 3-year-old Charlatan filly’s first visit to the winner’s circle since the Take The A Train Stakes on May 9 at Belmont. Cruising Along Double millionaire Bishops Bay added to his sterling resume after taking the $150,000 Philip H. Iselin (G3) this past Saturday at Monmouth Park. Sent off as the 3-2 second choice, the accomplished 6-year-old Uncle Mo bay fought tooth and nail to reach the wire a neck ahead of 3-1 rival Chunk of Gold. Memorable Sequence Fibonaccis Ride had everybody else’s number in the $150,000 Solana Beach Stakes, Saturday at Del Mar. Competing in her first stakes since last July (Fleet Treat), the 4-year-old daughter of Clubhouse Ride–Wild Caroline showed tremendous tenacity down the lane to complete the comeback victory. Now standing at 4-3-0 through 13 starts after the 1 ¼-length score at 17-1, Fibonaccis Ride has collected north of $230,000 in purses. Shining Bright Pink Ruby delivered a gem in Saturday’s $125,000 All Brandy Stakes at Colonial Downs to secure her first stakes score. Competing for owner Larry Nafe and trainer Lindsay Schultz, the 4-year-old daughter of Connect–Gemini R N gave everything she had to thwart a spirited late challenge from 9-5 favourite Nick’s Notion. The hard-fought victory by a neck under rider Sonny Leon was Pink Ruby’s fifth from 13 lifetime starts (5-0-3; $255,613). The fifth betting choice at 6-1, Pink Ruby paid $15.
