Listenlindalisten headlines Eternal Search Stakes

August 13, 2017

TORONTO, August 13 – Fresh off a stakes victory in the Passing Mood, Conrad Farms’ Listenlindalisten is the morning line favourite in the $125,000 Eternal Search Stakes this Wednesday, August 16 at Woodbine Racetrack.
Trained by Mark Casse, Listenlindalisten headlines a field of six Ontario-sired three-year-old fillies in the mid-week stakes feature to be contested over 1-1/16 miles on the Tapeta track.
The Court Vision-Queen Ofthe Dawn filly was a 1:23.50 winner with Eurico Rosa Da Silva aboard last time out in the seven-furlong Passing Mood Stakes on August 2, which was moved off the turf due to weather.
Patrick Husbands will take the reins in the Eternal Search Stakes with Da Silva listed on the Michael DePaulo trainee Cindervella, a stakes winner at two. Husbands previously rode the four-time starter in her first two races, including a maiden-breaking June 3 effort. The consistent filly has hit the board in all of her career starts so far, including a third-place finish in her other stakes outing in the Ontario Damsel on July 1.
“She was a horse that took a while to get to the races, but now that she’s there, she’s been a picture of consistency and doing everything right and we’re really pleased with her,” said Casse’s assistant trainer Kathryn Sullivan. “And knock on wood, everything’s going well into the race.”
Team Casse will also send out Missy Crissy in the Eternal Search Stakes with Rafael Hernandez subbing in for Husbands. Harlequin Ranches’ stakes-placed Court Vision-Miss Crissy filly has one win in six starts on her lifetime record.
“She’s a little bit different,” said Sullivan. “She’s a hard-trying horse. She’s had her ups and downs, but I think it’s a good spot for her. I think she should fit there.”
Here is a look at the complete field for the $125,000 Eternal Search Stakes, which is scheduled as race six on Wednesday’s 6:45 p.m. program:
