TORONTO, April 14, 2022 – Fans attending opening day this Saturday at Woodbine Racetrack will have a chance to get their hands on signed copies of Run With a Mighty Heart. Written by Jennifer Morrison, Run With a Mighty Heart tells the story of the one-eyed wonder Mighty Heart, who captured the racing world’s attention with his victory in the 2020 Queen’s Plate. Morrison’s book goes through the series of challenges Mighty Heart and his owner Larry Cordes faced prior to reaching the pinnacle of Canadian racing. Run With A Mighty Heart was nominated for a Sovereign Award. The foreword was written by Jim Lawson, CEO of Woodbine Entertainment. Racing fans can purchase a copy of the book and have it signed by Morrison, Cordes and members of team Mighty Heart beginning Saturday at 11:30 a.m. on the second floor of the Woodbine Grandstand. Run With a Mighty Heart is also available for purchase on Amazon.
