• 2014 marked the seventh consecutive season McNair’s starters earned over $2 million.
• McNair’s three-year-old pacing filly Lady Shadow banked over $280,000 in 2014 and won the O’Brien Award for her division.
• In 2013, McNair set a career high for earnings, as his stable banked over $3.1 million on the season.
• In 2013, McNair’s rookie pacing filly Precocious Beauty won the $451,000 Shes A Great Lady Stakes at Mohawk. She also went on to equal the World Record of 1:50.1 and was named two-year-old pacing filly of the year on both sides of the border.
• On July 27, 2012, McNair scored his 2,000th career training victory with Swinging Beauty at Mohawk. His son, Doug, was in the sulky.
• McNair quietly operates one of the most efficient stables on the WEG circuit and features a blend of stakes and conditioned horses.
• McNair surpassed $30 million in lifetime training earnings in 2011. His stable earned $2,107,295 including 75 winners from 671 starters. While on the WEG circuit, McNair earned $1,061,967 with 32 wins from 317 starters.
• McNair’s top performers in 2011 include Swinging Beauty ($376,237 in 2011) and Aracache Hanover ($283,574 in 2011), who surpassed $1 million in lifetime earnings.
• The 2010 season was another stellar one for McNair, as he recorded 114 wins and $2,868,914 in earnings, a career best.  His stable recorded 33 wins and just over $1 million on the WEG scene ‑ almost at par with his 2009 and 2008 WEG totals.
• In 2010, Aracache Hanover emerged as one of the top three-year-old pacers in North America this past season for McNair. With earnings of $785,173, Aracache Hanover scored victories in the $547,000 Confederation Cup, $200,000 Windy City Pace (defeating One More Laugh) and multiple PASS events.
• McNair’s other top performers in ’10 included star O.S.S. pacers Tiz To Dream ($368,161), Stonebridge Tonic ($267,045) and Krakatoa ($146,725), just to name a few. McNair also had a pair of older pacers who also made headlines this past season in Stonebridge On Ice ($147,790) and Mr Coolie ($140,215).
• Despite earning just $80,481 in ’10, McNair’s OK Commander emerged as a top three-year-old in North America as he captured his Meadowlands Pace elimination in a sizzling 1:47.4, before suffering a season-ending injury.
• Eagle Luck was a top performer once again for the McNair Stable in ‘09′ with just shy of $200,000 in earnings. Other notable stakes performers from the barn included Striking Lindsey, Tiz To Dream, Stonebridge Tonic and Warrawee Koine. McNair notched one of the biggest wins of his career at Grand River Raceway in 2008 when son, Doug, piloted Trail Boss to an upset win in the $300,000 Battle Of Waterloo on August 4th.
• The win was made more special considering he owns the colt with his mother, Gwen. In 2005, McNair enjoyed his most successful Woodbine/Mohawk campaign ever, recording career‑highs in starts (451), wins (54) and earnings ($1,504,103).
• His most important victory in 2005 came at The Red Mile (Lexington) where two‑year‑old pacer Faust Blue Chip won a $156,000 division of the International Stallion Stakes.
• In 2005, two‑year‑old pacing filly Lets Talk Turkey was a runner up in her O.S.S. Super Final and the then seven‑year‑old trotter Son of Grace went over the $1‑million earnings plateau in career earnings ¼ before moving to the OJC full‑time in 1995, the Walkerton native was one of the leading trainers at Windsor Raceway.
• He worked for renowned colt specialist William “Bud” Fritz before venturing out on his own.
• McNair’s 1999 stars included Burlington Stakes winner Sioux Dawn, Celestine Prophesy and Justanotherpoorboy.
• George Scooter won a heat of the 2000 Little Brown Jug.
• Ontario Sires Stakes colt Run To The Bank finished third in the 1998 North America Cup.
• The talented Lusty Leader won the 1995 Toronto Pacing Series and a number of Free For All events around the continent.
• Our Laag Cabin was another stable star in the late 1990’s.
• His first win was with G G Black Fella at Hanover Raceway.
