July 1, 2018

TORONTO, July 1, 2018 – Woodbine’s award-winning track photographer Michael Burns captured all the action of Saturday’s 159th running of The Queen’s Plate won by the talented filly Wonder Gadot.

Trained by Mark Casse and expertly piloted by John Velazquez, Wonder Gadot became the ninth filly to win the Queen’s Plate since its first running at Woodbine in 1956. The dark bay daughter of Medaglia d’Oro-Loving Vindication was bred in Ontario by Anderson Farms Ont. Inc. and is owned by Gary Barber.
