King’s Plate Aug 15, 2026 @ All Day – The King’s Plate, Canada’s oldest and most prestigious thoroughbred race, will take place on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at the Woodbine Racetrack. The 2026 edition will mark the 167th running of the prestigious, $1 million-stakes race. The Plate is the first leg of the Canadian Triple Crown and followed by the Prince of Wales Stakes run at Fort Erie Race Track, and the Breeders’ Stakes run at Woodbine Racetrack.
