Woodbine Entertainment has obtained a court order that is expected to significantly reduce delays entering the Woodbine property by establishing clear guidelines for picketing activity at the property’s entrances. The order follows lengthy delays experienced by guests and employees due to ongoing picketing by a group of Great Canadian Entertainment (GCE) union employees. Vehicles can no longer be held at entrances for extended periods. While guests should continue to expect some delays, the court order is expected to significantly improve access to the property. The safety of our guests remains our top priority. Woodbine Security is monitoring all picketing locations and working to ensure everyone can enter the property safely and in accordance with the court order.
