Woodbine Father’s Day x Labatt Contest

Win a Golf Trip from Labatt & Woodbine

Contest starts Thursday, June 13, 2024 at 8:00am and continues until Thursday, July 11, 2024 at 11:59pm (the “Contest Period”). No purchase necessary. Limit one (1) entry per person per day. Woodbine Entertainment Group (“WEG”) is the sponsor of this contest (the “Contest Sponsor”).

This contest is open only to legal residents of Ontario who are at least 19 years of age, excluding employees of the Contest Sponsor and Labatt Brewing Company Limited (“Labatt”), their agencies, subsidiaries, and those with whom they are domiciled. The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial and municipal laws and regulations. The contest is void where prohibited by law. By participating, each entrant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules & Regulations and the decisions of the Contest Sponsor, which are final.

To enter the contest, entrants must scan the Promotional QR code which will be available during the Contest Period on printed cards made available by WEG staff and presented to customers after they have purchased a Labatt beer product (including but not limited to Stella Artois, Corona, Corona Sunbrew, Budweiser, Bud Light, Michelob Ultra, Mill St.) from a WEG-operated dining establishment, during dining hours on-site at Woodbine Racetrack or in Casino Woodbine, located at 555 Rexdale Boulevard, Toronto, Ontario (“Woodbine”), or at Woodbine Mohawk Park or Elements Casino Mohawk, located at 9430 Guelph Line, Milton, Ontario (“Mohawk”). Entrants will be directed via the QR code to an online contest page form that must be completed to be eligible to win. Only fully completed forms will be considered as eligible entries. The contest is not applicable at establishments operated by non-WEG entities located at Woodbine and/or Mohawk.

No purchase is necessary to enter the contest. Customers can also earn one entry per day during the Contest Period by writing a 300 word letter on 11”x14” sized paper sharing with us how much they love horse racing and including a story related to their experience with horse racing. Entrants must email contests@woodbine.com with their submission.

On Friday, July 12, 2024, a random draw will take place in Toronto, Ontario at 12:00pm from all eligible entries where one (1) Grand Prize winner will be selected. The selected winner will be contacted by email and will be given forty-eight (48) hours to respond. The selected entrant will have to correctly answer, unaided, a time‐limited mathematical skill testing question in order to claim the prize, and return a signed Confirmation of Acceptance of Prize and Release. To be declared the winner, the selected entrant must meet the requirements set out above.

If an entrant fails to respond within 48 hours, incorrectly answers the skill‐testing question, declines the prize, fails to return a Confirmation of Acceptance of Prize and Release or is otherwise ineligible for the prize, the Contest Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to select another entrant or to cancel the contest. The Contest Sponsor’s rulings are final and without appeal in all matters related to the contest and the awarding of prizes.

Entrants are eligible to win one (1) Foursome Golf Trip plus 2 Night Stay, which includes:

• Golf getaway trip for one contest winner and up to 3 guests
• Two nights hotel accommodation
• One round of golf per person
• $1,000 spending money

The approximate total retail value of the prize is $5,000 CAD (subject to golf resort selection and actual dates of travel).

Full prize description:
Prize includes a golf getaway trip for one contest winner and up to 3 guests to an Ontario golf resort as selected by Contest Sponsor, including two nights hotel accommodation (based on double or quad occupancy as selected by Contest Sponsor), one round of golf per person including green fee, cart and club rental (at an 18-hole course selected by Contest Sponsor), $1,000 CAD spending money (payable to the contest winner only in the form of prepaid credit card or e-transfer at Contest Sponsor’s discretion). Dates of travel to be taken by August 31, 2025 subject to availability and booked by August 31, 2024.

All other expenses are the responsibility of the contest winner and guests, including but not limited to, all transportation, food and beverage, insurance, communications, proper identification documents for travel, gratuities, and personal expenses. Alcoholic beverages are not part of the prize. The contest winner and guests must carry a valid credit card for presentation at hotel check in for security deposits and incidentals. Guests of the winner must be at least 19 years of age to participate in the prize.

Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prize of equal or greater value. The prize is not transferrable, not resaleable, nor redeemable in whole or part for cash.

All elements of the prize must be accepted as awarded, may not be transferred, or exchanged and are not redeemable for cash. No substitutions are permitted. The Contest Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizing of at least equal value in the event of the unavailability, for whatever reason, of the advertised prize or any component thereof.

The Contest Sponsor shall not be liable to the winner in the event that the winner is unable to accept the prize. The Contest Sponsor shall have the right in its sole discretion to substitute, amend, reschedule and/or cancel any element of any prize and/or the contest and no winner shall be compensated for such substitution, amendment, re-scheduling or cancellation.

By entering this contest, entrants consent to the use of their entry, name, city of residence, uploaded image, video image and/or photograph in any publicity material (posters, newsletters, internet, programs, etc.) as Contest Sponsor may determine, without further notice or compensation.

Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. All entries that are incomplete, illegible, damaged, irregular, have been submitted through illicit means, or do not conform to or satisfy any condition of these Rules and Regulations may be disqualified by the Contest Sponsor. The Contest Sponsor takes no responsibility for lost, stolen, delayed, damaged, misdirected, late or destroyed entries, or for typographical or other production errors. The Contest Sponsor is not responsible for any errors or omissions in printing or advertising this contest. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsor and will not be returned.

No communications will be entered into except with selected entrants unless otherwise permitted on the contest registration form. By entering this contest, entrants give permission for Contest Sponsor to contact them via the email address they used to enter the contest in the event they are selected as a potential winner. No further informational or marketing communications will be received by entrants unless entrants provide Woodbine Entertainment Group with explicit permission to do so. By entering this contest, entrants release and hold harmless Labatt and the Contest Sponsor, its advertising and promotional agencies and their affiliates and respective directors, officers, owners, partners, employees, agents, dealers, representatives, successors and assigns (collectively the “Releasees”) from any liability in connection with this contest or, if declared a winner, the prize.

Entrants acknowledge and agree that the Contest Sponsor has not made nor is in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, related to the prize, including but not limited to its quality or fitness for a particular purpose. This contest will be run in accordance with these Official Rules and Regulations, subject to amendment by the Contest Sponsor. Entrants must comply with these Rules and Regulations and will be deemed to have received and understood the Rules and Regulations by participating in the contest. The Contest Sponsor may amend or modify these Rules and Regulations or cancel or postpone this contest at its sole discretion at any time prior to the distribution of prizing. Any disagreements or disputes arising out of this contest will be resolved by the Contest Sponsor at its sole and absolute discretion.
