TORONTO, April 26, 2019 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine. [Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.] Saturday, Race 8 – Souper Success Souper Success worked back for Mike DePaulo on March 19 in :48.60, home in :24. He also worked on April 6 in :47.80, out in a 1:00.2. That work had Campbell aboard and was in company with Special for You. This one has been winter trained. A salty spot but price should be right. Sunday, Race 8 – Sure Would Forest Sure Would Forest worked for Tiller worked on March 28 in company with Ari Gold Speedwagn. Although the both worked in :47.40, Sure Would Forest was under a little more urging. Ari Gold Speedwagn will be a good one so that is a good frame of reference.
