Clocker Report: Horses to watch this weekend

July 26, 2019

TORONTO, July 26, 2019 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine.

[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]

Race 5, Saturday –  Blessed Truly

Blessed Truly worked for Kevin Attard on July 5 in :47.60 from the gate, out-working Pastel Emily by six lengths. She also recently worked in :49.80, out-working Frankie Barrone by a length.

Race 5, Saturday – Bambarra Bay

Bambarra Bay for worked for Michael Mattine on July 7 in :48.80 very easily.

Race 12, Saturday – Fresh Dreams

Fresh Dreams worked for Robert Tiller on July 14 in :46. This filly has always been a good work horse. She had an 80 Beyer in one of her last starts and was on the turf. She may slide under the radar and be a price.

Race 7, Sunday – Lakeside Park

Lakeside Park worked for Michael Mattine on July 7 in :48.40 breezing from the gate with another firster, Ready and Willing. Both went head and head. Looking very sharp.
