TORONTO, August 10, 2018 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key on in upcoming races at Woodbine.

Friday, Race 5 – Speedy Soul

Perrie said: “Speedy Soul worked on August 3 in 1:02.40 breezing for Andrew Smith in company with Hastalavistababy (1:02.80). Although the time was a tad slow, Hastalavistababy finished about 4 3/4 lengths behind Muskoka Wonder in open company using that as a reference. Speedy Soul is Ontario Sired.”

Friday, Race 8 – Must Be Dreaming

Perri said: “Must Be Dreaming worked on July 14 in 1:00.20 breezing in company with Kylla Instinct (1:00.40b), who just won ‘a two other than.’ Last few works have been with Kylla.”

Other horses to watch that are running this weekend include: Pay for Peace (Saturday, Race 1), Prized Connection (Saturday, Race 2), Intanga Rose (Saturday, Race 5) and Avie’s Flatter (Sunday, Race 2).
