August 24, 2018

TORONTO, August 24, 2018 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine.

[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]

Friday, Race 6 – Nashtrick

Perri said: “Nashtrick worked back on July 20 for Josie Carroll in 1:00.40 in company. He started two behind, waited for room, split horses and finished one in front. He also worked with Avie’s Flatter from the gate then on August 12. He outworked Dyna’s Mischief by a good three lengths under a good hold.”

Saturday, Race 6 – Eyeinthesky

Perri said: “Eyeinthesky worked for Mark Casse on August 19 in :47.40 breezing the second fastest out of 85 that day. She is coming out of stakes in New York. She also breezed well on a quick turf training track in :57.80 on August 5.”

Other horses of interest that are running this weekend include:

Friday, Race 6 – War of Will

Sunday, Race 9 – Conquest Lemonraid (worked with Neepawa)
