Clocker Report: Horses to watch this weekend

November 16, 2018

TORONTO, November 16, 2018 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine.

[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]

Saturday, Race 9 – Blue Eyed Girl

Perri said: “Blue Eyed Girl worked for Barb Minshall on October 13 on the training track with Another Time, both in :58.60 breezing. She has come back to work and beat company in a couple of preps. Another Time won second time out.”

Sunday, Race 10 – Piven

Perri said: “Piven worked for Kevin Attard on November 4 in :47.80 breezing. Piven has had some quick works and can win off a layoff, albeit a salty spot first back.”

Other horses of note that have also worked well include:

Friday, Race 5 – Camp Nardo

Friday, Race 8 – Bangkok
