Clocker Report: Horses to watch this weekend

TORONTO, May 25, 2018 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key on in upcoming races at Woodbine.

[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]

Friday, Race 4 – Dakota Diva

Perri said: “Dakota Diva worked for Jamie Attard on April 29 in :47 breezing, out in :59.80 with Chantal Sutherland up, with a final three-eighths in :35.20. She is bringing good form as well and has had two good follow up works.”

Sunday, Race 8 (Nassau Stakes) – Ghostly Presence 

Perri said: “Ghostly Presence worked in :59.60 breezing on May 20 for Roger Attfield with Hernandez up and galloped out in 1:12.20. She worked after the harrow break. The track was fair rated 3.”

Sunday, Race 4 – United

Perri said: “United worked for Roger Attfield on May 10 in 1:12.20 breezing with Hernandez up. He worked in company with stakes winner Danish Dynaformer. Buzz horse.”

Sunday, Race 9 – Katie Baby

Perri said: “Katie Baby worked for Catherine Day Phillips on May 12 in :48.60 breezing in company with Pictures of You (:48.80) and Chestnut Grove (:49) – both are in the entries with Pictures of You in the same race. She worked after the break. The track was in good order rated 3.”
