TORONTO, September 15, 2018 – La Sardane, slated to be the lone filly in the $800,000 Grade 1 Ricoh Woodbine Mile, was scratched Saturday morning by trainer Neil Drysdale.

“We’re going to skip this race. It’s just not quite the right place,” said Drysdale. “She’s fine—I just wasn’t quite happy with her.

“I’ll breeze her tomorrow on the grass.”
