The multiple graded stakes-winning rider then hit the double on Sunday, winning the Lake Huron with Live Lucky and the Georgian Bay with Little Teddy.

Ontario, owned by NK Racing and LNJ Foxwoods, had a smart debut on Sunday. Trained by Josie Carroll and ridden by Sofia Vives, the 3-year-old daughter of Ghostzapper rallied from last to win the 6 ½-furlong main track race by three lengths.

Rolling Along, trained by Josie Carroll, took Saturday’s first race by 7 ½ lengths. Gilt Edge, with Daisuke Fukumoto in the irons, delivered trainer Sandy McPherson a victory in the fourth race on Saturday. Misty Point made her career bow a memorable one, taking Saturday’s fifth race by 1 ¼ lengths and returning $20.40 for the win.
