TORONTO, May 9 – On Saturday, Woodbine Entertainment Group hosted its inaugural Derby Day Party and we sent celebrity blogger and popular racing fan Mr. Will Wong out to capture some of the highlights of the event. The Derby Day Party kicked off at 1PM as racing fans were treated to the sounds of singer Kristen Violet May and had their taste buds tempted by a southern-style buffet and the sweet, smoky whisky offerings at our Whisky Tasting Station in the luxurious Northern Dancer Room. And while Always Dreaming was the big winner of the day, romping home to capture the 143rd running of the Kentucky Derby, a few of our guests earned victories in their own right while competing for the title of best dressed.
