Lady Luck

Lady Eva, trained by Mark Casse, won Saturday’s first race with Sofia Vives in the irons. The daughter of Bolt d’Oro rumbled to a seven-length score in the seven-furlong main track tilt. One race later, Foxy Lady found her way to the winner’s circle courtesy of a half-length score for the duo of trainer Martin Drexler and owner Bruno Schickedanz. A $1 ‘Lady’ daily double returned $9.80.
