TORONTO, September 9 – Friends and colleagues gathered on the Woodbine turf after Saturday’s seventh race in memory of exercise rider and outrider Darren Fortune.

Woodbine’s racing community observed a moment of silence in honour of the fallen horseman, who passed away on Friday morning from injuries sustained in a training accident.
