Clocker Report: Horses to watch this weekend

November 13, 2020

TORONTO, November 14, 2020 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine.

Saturday, Race 6 – Adelaide Court

Adelaide Court worked for Renaldo Holder on November 1 in :59.20. The half was in :47.40. He started two lengths behind a pair and finished nine in front. I believe he was short first time out, now drops in class and followed up with another nice five-eighths work.

Saturday, Race 7 – Eagle Song (IRE)

Eagle Song worked for Kevin Attard on November 1 in :47, out in :59.60, came home quickly. He has had an abundance of good works. Will be a price in an ultra-tough race.

Saturday, Race 8 – Jilli Marie

Jilli Marie worked for Katerina Vassilieva on November 7 in :47.8 with Steven Bahen aboard, galloping out strongly. She is working like she did before her maiden win.

Sunday, Race 7 – Stormy Soul

Stormy Soul worked for Kelly Callaghan on October 3 in :59.80. He tracked a couple of horses and breezed by them. Stormy Soul has been working well for his introduction back to racing. He will be a generous price.
