Clocker Report: Horses to watch this weekend

October 26, 2018

TORONTO, October 26, 2018 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine.

[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]

Friday, Race 7 – Corps de Ballet

Perri said: “Corps de Ballet has had three solid works for Attfield since his last start — his latest on October 21 was in 1:00.80 and looked very good and his previous to that was with Shakhimat, both in :59.20.”

Saturday, Race 1 – She’s a True Fox

Perri said: “She’s a True Fox worked for Seymour on October 20 in 1:01.40 on a fair track rated 3. She galloped out very well.”

Saturday, Race 8 – Not So Quiet

Perri said: “Not So Quiet worked for Tharrenos on October 20 in :59.20 breezing. He tied for the bullet best out of 50 and is improving with every start.”

Sunday, Race 8 – Jessica Krupnick

Perri said: “Jessica Krupnick worked on October 20 in :47.60 breezing in company with Forest Brother and My Miss Tapit (same time), who is in this race. The work before she outworked My Miss Tapit by a length. Big field could be a decent price.”
