Clocker Report: Horses to watch this weekend

November 9, 2018

TORONTO, November 9, 2018 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key in on for upcoming races at Woodbine.

[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]

Friday, Race 5 – Hope Garden

Perri said: “Hope Garden worked for Carlton Teape on November 3 breezing in :47.80, which was fifth best out of 100. Trainer can strike at a price. The filly is dropping from a turf Miaiden Special Weight to Ontario Sired.”

Saturday, Race 7 – Nevaeh’s Dream

Perri said: “Nevaeh’s Dream worked for Ross Armata Jr. on November 4 in :47.20, quickening at the end and galloping out well. He is also fresh and could offer good value.”
