November 23, 2017

TORONTO, November 23, 2017 – Each week, Woodbine’s head clocker Ernie Perri comments on some of the top workouts watched, highlighting horses to key on in upcoming races at Woodbine.

[Track ratings based on a scale of 1-5 with ‘1’ being the slowest.]

Friday, Race 7 – Vintage Time
Ernie said: “Vintage Time worked in 1:00.80b for McClachrie on November 11 with Confidentiality (1:01.20) after the break. Track was slow rated 2.5. In a tougher spot, but is coming into this race in very good form and fresh.”

Friday, Race 8 – Miss Honeypotts
Ernie said: “Miss Honeypotts worked in :59.80b on November 18 before the break. Track was fair rated 3. Started behind a couple of Attfield charges and made up several lengths – very eye-catching. Longshot play.”

Saturday, Race 5 – Forty’s Sweetheart
Ernie said: “Forty’s Sweetheart worked in 1:01.80b for Morden after the break. Track was fair rated 3. Nice and slow early, final quarter in :23.60, out in 1:13.80, nice follow up work in 1:00.20 beating company.”
