Run for the Hills, a 4-year-old daughter of Runhappy, took the first grass race of the season, a two-length score over 6 ½ panels on the E.P. Taylor course. The Kentucky-bred bay filly is trained by Mark Casse for owner Gary Barber.

Jockey Ryan Munger won three races on Saturday, including an impressive triumph with Sid Attard trainee Hear Me Knocking. Bred by Karley and Michaela Kemp, the 3-year-old daughter of Bahamian Squall is owned by Tucci Holdings.

Gaston won the featured allowance race on Sunday for the connections of reigning Canadian Horse of the Year Moira.
Declan delivers
Jockey Declan Carroll orchestrated an impressive winning ride aboard Scoot Daddy in the ninth race on Sunday. The 4-year-old son of We Miss Artie won the 6 ½-furlong turf race by two lengths with Carroll in the irons. It was the second straight victory for the Kentucky-bred, trained and owned by Nick Nosowenko.
