TORONTO, September 23, 2021 – Woodbine Racetrack has announced today’s (September 23) card of live racing has been cancelled due to unfavourable track conditions.
Significant heavy rainfall overnight into Thursday caused unfavourable track conditions, forcing Woodbine to cancel Thursday’s card in the best interest of safety for all the horses and participants.
Woodbine’s track maintenance team will continue working on the Tapeta surface throughout the remainder of Thursday and into Friday.
Live racing will resume Friday afternoon at 4:50 p.m.
